Drawing since she could hold a pencil, this self-taught award winning artist has always been inspired by her two favourite subjects; nature and people.

"The human condition fascinates me. My own interpretation of the human spirit is what I try to convey to the viewer, and this continues to evolve as a reflection of my own life's experiences."

She also delights in bringing portraits to life for clients, and has done so for twenty five years. Her clients have included Emmy Award winning actors, famous sports figures as well as notable government officials. She has also recently been awarded the title of government portrait artist.

A recent move from Ontario to her new permanent British Columbia home means a fresh start, a new birth. She is embracing this creative shedding and welcoming the unfamiliar. "I am eager to explore this beautiful new environment creatively" shares Sarah as she finds herself welcomed by mountains of majesty and easy sweeps of sky.
